Amended Timetable across EMR Regional routes

News from EMR regarding Changes to EMR's Regional Services from 19 June

In recent weeks it has become apparent that our new timetable has not performed as expected resulting in short notice cancellations. We are sorry that we have not performed as we, or our customers, expect.

Everyone at EMR is immensely disappointed but we have introduced a dedicated team to fix these issues and reinstate these services as swiftly as possible. We are working to understand the detailed reasons behind those areas which are not working well.

While we fix these issues, we must introduce a reduced timetable which will run from Saturday 19th June until further notice. This will allow us to protect key services and routes such as those to Skegness – as well as ensuring we have sufficient capacity across the network. We will still run 85% of our normal timetable, which equates to over 460- trains per day. This reduction will help to reduce short notice cancellations and short forming which we know are immensely frustrating for our customers.

What’s changing?

Some EMR Regional routes will see a reduction in train service as outlined below. These changes will run until further notice.

EMR Intercity and EMR Connect services to/from London St Pancras will continue to run as normal.

Online journey planners are expected to be updated shortly to reflect the reduction in train servic

⚠️ The downloadable timetables listed below are not inclusive of engineering works which may also affect train services on certain days. You can check if engineering work will affect your journey here.

How do I get where I need to be?

If you were planning to travel on a service that is no longer scheduled to run you may use your ticket on an alternative train.

If you no longer wish to travel, you can apply for a refund at the place you purchased your ticket from. For more information about refunds click here.
